        When we got to our room last night after dinner it was airless and hot and we wondered whether we would get any sleep at all. However, by the time Brit had mastered the various knobs on the air conditioning unit, within a fairly short time we were both freezing.

        ... Roger kitty. Most of us know it's not the greatest joy to scoop a litter box but we do it because we love our cats. Poor things had to deal with runny poop on the bed! We are really concerned about him and discussed turning around but there's nothing we can do more than the Germans already are. We are hoping it's just a parasite or something similar and not anything more serious.

        ... service. Dennis changed the battery and we hope that is all taken care of. Better here than in the middle of no where.
        All of my gear smells like smoke. You notice it when you are out of the main smoke cloud. After a shop does some work for me tomorrow morning I will then head towards home. At least I will go generally eastward.
