The mountain section of Utah that we just came through on route 89 reminded me a lot of Colorado; very picturesque, very beautiful.

Logan Utah is a picturesque town. As you leave the mountain you pass the campus of Utah State University which looks down over the town of Logan.

... reminded me a bit ofthe Outer Banks, NC, without the ocean.

We were traveling from one small town to the next, some of which barely had enough residents for it to be considered a "town" back east. ... until the 30's. It was 40 degrees Inside and it was a cave that went down 1000 feet.

Leaving for the Start of the Tetons tomorrow. I thought I skied Jackson hole in my 20's but honestly can't remember. Will be cool to see the area in the summer.

Also a shout out and thank you to everyone helping watch and care for my home while I'm away. I couldn't do this without you all!

... news ......... this was going to our last year at the lake! Someone wanted to buy our home.

So we sold the place furnished and set about deciding what we were going to keep and organizing the move-out, and more importantly saying ........... goodbye .......... to friends and acquaintances we had made over the years ......... Suzie Q.

October 10th rolled around and we closed the door on another chapter of our 'journey' ........ and headed out.
