We were all woken by people wandering past but in fact had a good nights sleep. Set off and drove to Bear Lake with Andrew and family following in their camper van. Set up camp on the lake shore. Kids went in the water, and kayaked, while we snoozed after lunch. The mountain section of Utah that we just came through on route 89 reminded me a lot of Colorado; very picturesque, very beautiful.
Logan Utah is a picturesque town. As you leave the mountain you pass the campus of Utah State University which looks down over the town of Logan.

It's also clear, based on the types of properties and houses in this area that folks that have money to spend live here. The hillside houses that overlooked the lake and waterfront housing and stores were rustically gorgeous in their redwood log designs.
