... this night all year so the place was packed. I went in there to have some halibut as that is the speciality of this area. The prawns were pretty good though.

We were driving back down along the “Spit” and I thought I saw an otter in the water beside the road. We stopped and checked and it was sticks floating but then much excitement from me, I saw an otter. It turned out there were two. I walked around the inlet chasing ...

The sun is shinning in Homer, but still windy. Have great breakfast, hit Safeway and head out of town. The mountains are clearer today and it is sunny. Stop in Anchor Point to get Greg a fishing licence. There is a pawn shop next door so he gets a nice medium fishing rod ($20) and a gold panning pan. We stop for ...

The small boats they just drive down the beach and put them out.

Large boats the have two big skidders they hook on to the trailer and take them way out to where its deep enough to launch them.
