By the time we were ready to head into Seward the rain had stopped and there were even a few patches of blue sky showing. Our first goal for the day was to find an internet cafe as the internet at the campground leaves a lot to be desired. In fact the whole campground does. We stayed here in 2008, but since then it has gone downhill.

Today was the day for our trip out to Aialik Glacier from Resurrection Bay. We have been out on Resurrection Bay four other times and the trips have been gray and gloomy. Today started out the same way, but as we left Aialik Glacier more and more blue sky became visible and the sun actually came out for a while.

Off this morning to travel down the Seward highway along Turnagain Arm. Turnagain Arm was named by Captain Cook in the late 1700's as he was looking for a shorter route through the northwest. As he traveled up the inlet he found that it once again ended and he had to "turn again" thus the inlet was named Turnagain Arm.

Parti du camping pour faire une croisière à bord du Major Marine Tours d'une duré de 5 h avec comme repas du saumon et rosbif,mais la température n'était pas au rendez-vous.Pris plusieurs photo mais beaucoup de brume.Durant la croisière on a vue 2 souffles et une queue de baleine et des phoquesDemain départ pour Glennallen.

Parti de Homer à 8.30 pour Seward,encore de très beau paysage,dans l'après-midi nous sommes allés voir le glacier Exit.Après souper nous avons réservés une croisière pour demain.
