... our normal arrival times, it took a bit of jockeying to get between the 2 palm trees, disconnect our tow dolly and push it out of the way, and finish getting backed in...but as usual, Greg make it look pretty easy! Enjoying different scenery, even if it was motorhomes on either side, quite close!
... We had lunch at a nice restaurant and walked the dogs around town. We drove back on highway 111. The highway is the main drag that joins the foothill towns together. Put another 5 miles on us and our furry friends.
We broke out our folding bikes and actually rode them. Jil went to her first yoga class. We washed some clothes. Jil went swimming once so far. Did 25 laps. All four of us have walked 5 miles almost every day thus far.

... live in. It is like something gets a hold of me and takes all that stress, anger and unneeded thoughts and throws them away. That is when I really begin to enjoy the simply things.
The park was gorgeous at this time of day. The sun was just over the tree line and it was about 40 degrees out. The snow was up to my knees and the sky was clear for miles. Even the trail was amazing, the few people that had come this far on the trail had done it with snow shoes ...
... oncoming traffic in the form of a big, extra-wide motorhome!
Last night we enjoyed Sarah McLachlan and Friends in concert at nearby Fantasy Springs Casino - thanks to our friends Norma Jean and Gus. We felt badly that they had to make a sudden trip to Omaha, but appreciated their offering their tickets to us.

Dinner tonight was at Peppercorn's Restaurant in the Village. The place was packed - we attempted to come here on our first night but unless you have a booking you have no chance - it's so popular! I had a chicken lasagna, not something i would usually order but so yummy! I also tried their clam chowder - nice but creamy and not so good for you! Hopefully I'll burn it off skiing!
