Becca kinda freaked out a bit, but we did good and froze, confirmed location and evaded. That happened in midday but I really wanted to open with the snake story. Scary stuff but sure glad rattlesnakes are so courteous. In more disappointing news, very ...

This time however ...

Another wonderful opportunity I had this month was to spend the day in Palm Desert and Ranch Mirage with my Uncle Bob, his girlfriend Barbara and her son Kevin. Since Redlands was on the way they had offered to pick me up and show me the area. ...

... adventurous doing the 'Accelerator' and 'Central Park' which are both intermediate runs as well as 'Amusement Park' which is a low intermediate run.

Dan went off and skied on his own for the rest of the afternoon and Joel and Darren and I hung around the same areas. We went to the Geronimo Cafe which is up on the slopes at the base of Geronimo run which is a expert black run. It's insane to see the experts speeding down ...
