    At 5:30 we went to Nabska lighthouse. From there we saw different lighthouses in the distance. There are different types of lighthouses apparently.

    ... island is golden and course, not white and powdery. Where ours you see mostly shells, here I saw more rocks than shells. The rocks are just as diverse and unique as the shells are in Florida; smooth, rounded, and every color. We rarely saw a shorebird, though Dan spotted seals waaaaaaay out swimming off a sandbar. We saw a couple wild turkeys waddle across the road.

    ... swim of 2013 we will bid farewell to our pals, cleaned up the cabin and were ready to begin the trek back west Saturday. By then we will have done our utmost to stimulate the US economy.
