... a rest break at the Kerkerok Lodge, we decided to travel to the south of the Mara and actually enter in the country of Tanzania, whose border is not protected and simply marked by a concrete marker. We arrived at our hotel around noon, and as we walked into the lobby we were greeted with a cool wet cloth passed to us with tongs. Very refreshing! Then we were given a glass of cold passion fruit juice – yummy. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our room so we sat outside and admired the panoramic view.
