... They will try and meet us somewhere on the pier for a drink, but probably closed too. A beautiful day to sit by the pool for our bodies first exposure to the sun. We had our Christmas dinner, shrimp in butter and garlic white wine sauce with spaghetti. Better than any restaurant could deliver! I wish all of you could have seen the admiration the Spaniards had for Helen and Gus. Strangers regularly complimented their bravery and command of the language, their maturity in trying situations, and their ability to accommodate sudden changes in plans. I can confidently recommend Helen and Gus to anyone looking to travel the world with a couple of bright, young explorers. They are wonderful!
