Pretty good park. 20c for two minutes in the showers seem to be quite good.

This park was well set up and had everything we needed. the town has a terrible shortage of water, but we could fill up the tank for 20c for 40 lt which was very reasonable. the office were very helpful and recommended the tour.

One of the few places we've stayed where we really didn't like the vibe. This park is full of rules and warnings and proclamations by "order of THE MANAGEMENT". It's a bit like living under a Nazi regime. Despite a new, modern amenities block (in which you pay for every drop of water), the park is unloved - like the town it is in. Not a happy place.

Think we got this one at the wrong time of the year. Other than the playground the pool and most of the facilities were under construction and closed down. Due to lack of water, the showers are coin operated which was a bit of a pain. The facilities were clean and tidy and no doubt once the construction is finished it will be very nice.

Some under cover parking spots, however if it rains it is only under shade mesh and the water drops through. Facilities, camp kitchen etc. were fantastic.

It was really good. The people were very helpful and the toilets were some very nice toilets compared to some other places. The showers were pretty good to and it wasnt to busy which was good. The tours were full untill friday so we have to wait till then so we hope the town is pretty good to saty in

We stayed in July, a very busy time.
The owner checked us in & told us to choose a site. All sites are close to the amenities block, whick is large & fairly new. Had to pay $3 for a shower, but that is the case at every caravan park in town. The onsite pizza bar is great . Would definatley stay here again, & have alreay recommended it to others.

We spent 5 nights in Stuart Range caravan park. Apparently they are making changes to the main area in their park and they are currently using their "overflow" area for their current visitors. Well, they pack them in like sardines here! Some poor campers in caravans couldn't even put their awnings out because the traveler next to them was that close! The amenities were ok, 3 toilets and 3 showers (for the ladies) but one toilet and one shower was closed. One toilet was blocked so one toilet and two showers to cater for all those travellers. Not good enough - especially at $30 night with no water and you had to pay for a 3 minute shower. I have to say we were disappointed!

After a good nights sleep the McKenzie's got up and out of bed, ready for a day of exploring the town. First we went to 'Tom's Working Opal Mine' just outside of town. We went down for a guided tour at 10:00. First the tour guide took us and taught us about slides, which are areas in the rock formation where opals are found. To find these slides …

We had a great night stay at the Stuart Range Caravan Park. After a morning of site seeing at Faye's Place and her mine we refuelled and filled the tanks with precious water .20 cents per 30 litres and headed to the long awaited Williams Creek Rd since we couldn't take Borefield Rd due to the weather conditions. We stopped for lunch just inside the …

Visited The Breakaways. Brad lost his hat over the edge and had a panic attack when we went to get it. Next off to Toms Mine. Kids and Brad Noodled and collected a few shards of Opal. Visited underground shops. Last sightseeing trip for the day we went out to The Dog Fence and watched the Sunset. Perfect day.
