Park is quiet despite nearby highway, powered sites really need an upgrade to cope with todays larger caravans. Amenities are very good and the camp kitchen is excellent. Park is close to many attractions and pricing is reasonable. Good tourist info at reception and tour bookings/tickets available at discounted prices. we have been here before and will return again in the future.

We both ordered a seafood chowder (we had really nice ones earlier in the trip). What we got was nothing more than dish water with some bits of fish in it - HORRIBLE. We should have complained but just left.

The next day, I had a round of golf at the Tin Can Bay course - ordinary course ...

... was very comfortable. We made our way onto the main path and followed it around the various animal enclosures where we came across the following: Rhinoceros Iguanas, Otters, a Burmese Python, a Komodo Dragon, various Australian Lizards, Tasmanian Devils and a huge amount of Freshwater Crocodiles!! We continued along the path which took us to the next section of the zoo where we gazed upon: Dingoes, Cassowaries, Koalas, Binturongs and Camels! The great thing ...

... was heading to Melbourne to work on a cow farm with her boyfriend and Lindsey and Tabs had decided to come to Fiji with me! The only difficult thing was telling Psycho Sue that we had to leave a few days early as we had to go on the Thursday, and the rumour going around was the planting season ended around the Sunday, maybe a few days later... It took me a while to pluck up the courage to tell her and as soon as I did I regretted it already... She went crazy... ...
