... around Azalea Bowl, which is a part of the gardens where various types of azaleas decorate a small lake.  It's so beautiful!  Many azaleas had already withered, even though I think they are supposed to be at their peak in April/May. ... in America more easily than in Europe or Asia. Attitude towards individuals with disabilities is more lax here, I feel like. Like I saw a morbidly obese lady on an electric cart at a grocery store the other way, and it was like, ah yes, America. Imagine her trying to shop at a grocery store in Stockholm! ... often the 'real life', from the inside out, of the places where I was. Without this network my experience wouldn't be comparable, and I am so so thankful for what it added!!

The ride has been amazing. I learned a lot. I laughed a lot. I doubted a lot. I saw, felt, heard, tasted a ton. It was an adventure. And it's not over yet.

Goodbye South America, I'll be back.
