    ... be dessert or dinner. The feast looks amazing and once it’s ready nobody hesitates and we’re all digging in. I sit down at the table and get to know Bob’s side of the family (his sister Mindy, Beth and his mum, Dorothy) and we all have good chats at dinner.     We rise early and stumble out of bed at 6:30 and hit the showers first thing. We pack our things and head down for the hostel's complimentary breakfast. There are bagels, toast options, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, coffee and more. So we sit down and enjoy our breakfast.     Today, we took a trip to Roseville - outside of Minneapolis for a little shopping. They have an REI there and we picked up a backpack and walking sticks. We found that walking sticks worked well in Hawaii and after yesterday's hiking, they would work well on the Mainland.

    Work up today to snow!! Sheila got a picture of me with snow on the jacket. We should have headed south, but despite the cold, the Northwood are very amazing beautiful. Sheila and I explored the North Shore of Minnesota from Duluth to Schroeder - about 100 miles. Our first stop was Duluth - at the Duluth Trading Company. Very expensive place.
