5/25 We seem to be having some adjustment difficulty with the adjustment of the time change. I was up at 5am and there was a good bit a daylight already. Plus, this would be 7am back at home.
We began to get things ready to head out early.
We were on the road by 7:30am.
We really enjoyed Distant Drums campground at Camp Verde. It is a …
... to bet on. It's best to get down one sport during the time before advancing to another. Betting on all kinds of sports without delay could be a recipe for disaster and end your betting on sports career before you can have a way to even start. By focusing on one sport, you have time to learn the teams, learn their strengths and weaknesses, arrange lucrative betting situations, etc. As well, you may obtain knowledge in the sports betting direction to ...
... we had come from thick, cold snow to toasty warm beach weather - weird! We had to wait for almost two hours to get our hire car - not happy but what can you do? Then it arrived and was too small for our luggage. Hundreds of dollars later and we upgraded to a big black Suburban SUV. She is going to be our car for the rest of our trip. We headed first to the Hollywood sign, through downtown LA and past those ...
... Me and Mo headed out to Whimsic Alley. It's this massive geeky shop that sells all these mystical, magical gizmos. They had weird props and masks, keyrings, costumes, hats, jewellery etc... And they all related to the books and films like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, you name it! They also had a dining hall set up with floating candles (like the food hall in Harry Potter). They held kid's parties and functions ...
... lake Isabella. The drive there was nice, but the lake not so. Although the weather was good, the lake was just average, and comparing it to new zealand standards it was well below average with a slime in the water, brown water, and rubbish over the beach. However, it was nice to have a stop and a wee sunbath and some target shooting with a bb gun. The sunbathing could not last long though as the temperature was 106f which is around 41c.. So that being said we continued ...

Two weeks stay were OK. Just OK, nothing spectacular though. Their pool and hot tub are super small and enclose with a wroth iron fence. If more that five people are in it, there is not room to safely and comfortably do some laps. The pictures on their web page makes them look a lot bigger than they are. The Internet speed is fairly good. It is close to all services and Disneyland and the fireworks from the park can easily be seen from here.
Bathrooms are tidy and clean.
I would recommend it to others and mind them that the white noise made by the constant traffic on the highway near bye, can be an issue specially the sites at the back of the park. For a light sleeper without a good RV insulated unit, might be a slight problem.
