Venturing off the beaten path
... The other couple who was waiting with us managed to hitch a ride shortly after. Car after car drove by, covering us with more dust each time. Just as the sun was starting to go down behind the mountains and after waiting for 2 hours and 15 minutes a bus finally showed up at 6:45! We were extremely happy to see that bus and thankfully made it back to Puerto Varas that night, just a little later and dustier than expected.
