    Professional and courteous personnel and helpful about local attractions. Went out of their way to make our stay a real nice experience.

    I forgot to mention that while at Lambert's Restaurant we agreed to a "presentation/tour" of the Welk Resort in Branson in order to get 2 free theatre tickets worth $50 each, a free discount coupon book and a $50 gift certificate to dinner at one of two restaurants offered.

    ... large. After lunch we drove down the highway containing most of the tourist attractions but didn’t stop at any. In the historic part of down town Branson we rode the tourist trolley; and then strolled around, going into several stores but buying very little. We did not find any shows that interested us, that were performing today, so we had dinner back at the camper and watched TV.

    ... tour of the battlefield and surrounding area. Wilson’s Creek played a significant role in the Civil War as it was the first major battle west of the Mississippi River. We enjoyed our short stay here as it was another piece of the amazing yet disturbing puzzle that is the Civil War. Leaving Wilson’s Creek we headed south on US 65 and our next campground in Branson MO.

    Driving down the main street to Branson, MO reminded us of 'the strip' in Las Vegas-just with a country music flair. There are many shows here-variety, comedy, gospel music, country music, and magic shows to name a few.
