Took a family vacation to Gatlinburg, TN!! Don't have many pics on this computer but it's wonderful there. We stayed in a huge cabin. The scenery is out of this world. Pigeon Forge is great! We went to a local steakhouse, The Peddler, and it was awesome! They have great wine to choose from as well. We went for the 4th of July. It was beyond crowded but everyone had a blast, and we would go back in a heartbeat. ...

... Went back to the motorhome to rest since it is rough getting use to the humidity then we decided to drive to Maryville which is south of us. We stopped at a few antique stores then we ended up in another small town. Terry mentioned that there was a large factory there....we looked at each other and said aluminum since we were in Alcoa!!

Went back to motorhome to get ready for our next move.

We ended up really enjoying ourselves in Wonderworks - there were a couple of thrill rides, rock climbing, ...

... that Alabama, more than the other states we drove through, is a poor state were people drive cars longer and with less maintenance, to the point they simply leave them as a total loss. In any event, the State of Alabama has recognized this phenomenon too, because they put up special road signs requiring you to move over a lane when you see a vehicle parked by the side of the road.

    ... the day throughly.

After we checked in to our hotel in Gatlingburg that afternoon we were pleasently suprised with our Bavarian themed hotel and surrounding area. It looked just like a ski resort but without any of the white stuff! We ventured to the main street where there we so many things to do, we settled for a walk around a bite to eat and an early night ready for our waterpark day.
