This is a van park for campervans and small caravans, as well as tent campers. There are also cabins available for hire. It is 2km away from the heart of Adelaide and very close to the Botanical Gardens, which makes it's location perfect for either walking or catching a bus to town. Amenities were clean and adequate however there was no camp kitchen only bbqs. There is a corner shop nearby and there is a pub quite close where meals are served. Staff at the van park were friendly and helpful.

This morning, in true camper van style we whip up bacon & cheese sandwiches for brekkie, and walk into town through beautiful river gardens and botanic gardens, as part of what seems like a large green belt to contain the city centre, giving it clear boundaries and an Eco feel. It's much bigger than we anticipated, and bloomin expensive as we …

Today is our day exploring the area around Adelaide, as yesterday was spent on foot. So we make good use of our camper van as we prep for a day trip. We begin heading west through Adelaide to get to West Beach, aptly named. Parking nearby we go for a long wander South along the beach, and as we wander along the pier we happen to see a seal playing …

This morning, bright and early at 7am we leave the home comforts behind us again, as we wave goodbye to Colin and Julia and once again go ruffing it... Well almost... As we fly to Adelaide to pick up our camper van! We have booked the HiTop model, which allows us to stand up in it, and has basic enough facilities to get by, such as a microwave, …

We didn’t need to leave Christie’s Beach early as we had another short trip, this time to West Beach, a suburb of Adelaide on the Gulf of St Vincent. We had a smooth drive through light Adelaide traffic in the residential suburbs before turning into the Adelaide Shores Caravan Park, set right on th...
