... plant in 1938 and started producing Beefaroni and other Boyardee products. It is still in operation today. We also enjoyed eating at the Fence Drive-In restaurant twice, very good fish sandwiches and fried chicken!!

Tomorrow we move about 70 miles down the road to the capital of Pennyslvania, Harrisburg. We will be staying thru Labor Day. We hope to to visit Gettysburg, Hershey and Lancaster.

... close down all the cabins, activity areas and kitchen in preparation for winter.

One final trip to the Scenic Overlook with a beer to remind ourselves of our first date 3 years ago in the same spot (and same brand of beer) and we were ready to say goodbye to Camp and start our travelling.

... A cut finger from a machette sized knife (although she still blames the gigantic red potatoes she was cutting, not her knife skills), fainting whilst bleeding over the chef and also being stood next to a water pipe as it burst straight into her face pretty much sum up the first few days but after that life was great for her in the kitchen, especially with the great team led by Chefs Kate and Alex whose fantastic cooking has led to us gaining several pounds.

... ourselves by stopping at our favorite grocery store, Wegmans! Like a beckoning beacon of hope, Wilkes-Barre PA Wegmans displayed on our GPS!
