      ... them getting them stuck in between their toes. Marley screamed bloody murder when we removed them from his paw. Ended up putting the rain hood for our tent on the grass to protect them. Had to leave them tied up tonight.

      ... into bed, again very late. Another sleep in on Saturday but not as bad as Friday morning, so it was off to brunch (yes more food) at Craig's local deli called Little Deli - some "normal" food, club sandwich for me. Bellys full it was time to see the green belt of Austin. First stop was at the Mount Bonnell lookout which overlooks Lake Austin with the buildings of Austin in the background. Then onto Barton Creek greenbelt which followed a dry creek ...

      ... He said, " they keep talking about the chicken fried steak, they must not have it anymore"

      That's when we realized there was a whole menu page we hadn't seen.

      I got the steak. A plate full with mashed potatoes and green beans and topped with a luscious white gravy that gave each bite a kick of black pepper. Gary had a guacamole burger on a sour dough bun. It also was also fantastic, both dishes crafted by someone who knows good eats.

      The weather is supposed to be rainy off and on for the next week so we decided to go for an out-of-van experience this week. Also, we need to visit Sportsmobile TX and get a few things done to Bertha and figured it would be good to have a temporary home while in Austin. We found the Pecan Grove RV Park and may extend the stay into next week if they have a spot open.

      ... without realizing that his sunglasses were perched on top. He sheepishly accepted pieces of his shattered glasses that had been retrieved by the other fans in the area. The rest of the Iowa State fans were pretty good. They actually stayed most of the game even though it became clear Iowa State wasn't going to pull of the upset.
