They even have zebras and some of the animals native to places like India or China are extinct or highly endangered in their own countries. So it is a good thing in a way.
There is a large population of Axis deer that have escaped and bred, the State Parks have a drawing for hunters every year. During that time the parks are closed to the public. Travelers take note!!!
... and my bed!! We went to the dance again for the last time. Connor danced the entire night and Landon finally danced one dance!! Jay and Justin both told me they were sad to be leaving and wanted to come back next year. So I guess we will. :)

The water is so low there is nowhere to float. So James, the boys, and I took the day to drive up the river to see if there were any places with flowing water. We drove through Garner and found the swimming hole which was pretty cool with paddle boats and rope swings. We kept driving north to Leakey and stopped to eat a piece of pie at Mill Creek restaurant. No luck in Leakey either so we came back to camp to get ready ...
