Our last day on safari and we started the day as the last 2 - waiting for the wildebeest to cross the river. Back and forth, back and forth..... By this time our driver is amazed that on both occasions I had just commented on an animal and within a couple of minutes they were there. He believes I am gifted/blessed. ... Came across a group of lionesses who were resting after a hunt. It turned out 3 of them were fairly injured and were limping with lots of cuts. Also passed a herd of elephants causing trouble: heading into a research camp. They left only to walk in on a lion couple making the elephants aggressive and chase off the lions by trumpeting and using their ears to make them look bigger.
