Beautiful Guest House. When I was in ChiangMai unfortunately I went shopping instead of going to see the Elephant hospital. How ever we did hop some Jumbos/Taxi thing and went to a Wat to see some mownks chanting as well as take some amazing pictures. (The name of the Wat is Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep Ravoravihara. Arrived late this morning in Chiang Mai, Thailand's second largest city. Met tour director at the airport and boarded tour bus which drove us to the hotel. The hotel is centrally located and walking distance to the night market. The tour director offered a city tour and some group members participated but I went to my room and slept.

The driver recommended we visit the Winter Palace first since it closed for lunch at 11:00. This is where the royal family spends a couple of weeks in the winter (about December sometime).
