... Our room is on the 8th floor with a view straight into the Sea of Cortez.
We dropped our bags and began exploring the hotel. Later that night we drove into town to shop at the MEGA market where we bought some tequila and snacks, Tonight was a relaxing night in the room and we got some great sleep with the waves crashing right outside our balcony. Tomorrow we will venture into town.
... San Jose. All the art galleries and shops in the Art District behind the church stay open and ply the tourists with wine, so we took the Urbano to town for supper, and wandered around a bit. Bla, bla, bla ... not nearly as exciting as the whale. ;o)
Tomorrow we plan to take the highway bus to Cabo San Lucas.

Happy New Years everyone. We hope you all had a fabulous NYE no matter where you were.
As for us, it appears that Cabo is party central on NYE. There were at least a dozen ticketed events with some of them entertaining celebrity and reality stars. Not for us though, we had a date with a Junkie, Baja Junkie that is!

Tours bringing people in to see the fish through the glass bottom, which is kind of a joke. A little glass portion put into the bottom of the boat. Probably 12-18" wide and maybe 4-5’ long.
