... and cheese at the back. The epitome of the variety store. Other than doing some shopping, eating, strolling through the town, sitting on the beach, eating, sitting by the pool, reading, relaxing, eating, there is not a lot to do in Buzios. ... had to squeeze out of a tiny hole. If I was any fatter I would've missed my flight home. Needless to say Sam is ready to go back to the UK and competent management skills in the western world should never be taken for granted. I got a taxi at 2:30am, left Rio at 4:30am, got to Sao Paulo at 5:30am, left Sao Paulo at 8:00am, got to BA at 10:00am, and was in Spanish class, coherent, and hard at work at 1:30pm. Thank God for age 21! Best weekend of all my 21 years.

Buzios is an area blessed with a dozen or so beaches and islands that surround a peninsula that shoots out into the Atlantic. Being mid-November the water is on the warm side of cool with an emerald green color. Many quaint streets with ...

Greetings from the Copacabana!!! After a six hour bus trip from Sao Paulo on a first rate double decker bus we arrived in Rio!!! Our first night here was spent in what tried to pass as a 4 star hotel, but actually looked more like a crime scene! we had arrived late and took the advice of the taxi driver. It was a very warm evening so after dropping off our pack we went to get our first look at Copacabana beach, as it was right on our doorstep. Within 5 mins i ...
