    ... and timed it just right to walk straight onto a waiting ferry. During the ferry ride we got our first views of New York, Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn bridge.     We finally had the lie in that we had been craving on the last day of our holiday and it was very much needed. However, once we were up and out it was all go again. The first stop was to find the heliport in downtown manhattan for Sandra's birthday present and as we were there early it gave us chance to sit at the end of a pier enjoying watching the boats go under the Brooklyn Bridge whilst sat in the sun.
