This morning we went down to the Australian Maritime Museum. The highlight of this tour was boarding the HMAS Onslow which was a submarine. It was unbelievably cramped down there, but apparently 67 people would operate it when it was in use. All of these people had to know how to do each other's jobs ...

... forests give you a feeling similar to that of Cathedral Grove, British Columbia. The Bi-Centennial tree is stuck with climbing pegs which allow you to scamper up its 70m of height. Originally for forest fire observation, this is now unsupervised and open to the public. With no fear of heights Ginenne had an eagerness to climb which I had a hard time keeping up with. Yesterday we celebrated what will probably be my last day at work. How do you give thanks to people who have shaped who you are? People who have generously and thoughfully given the time, intelligence and energy to making things work. People who have made you grow and learn.

... There is this man behind me who has the four seats to himself so he is lying across all of them with his blanket, eye mask, and lots of snoring on and off......haha. Brunch was ok. Was given the prawns and rice to start with (HAHAHAHAHA) but I soon changed that to potato and a chicken curry thing. The chicken pieces themselves weren't really the type I like but the rest was all good. Thumbs up to the apple crumble slice! ...
