      Bereits am ersten Abend hier waren wir verabredet mit einer Deutschen, die auch beim der Tour dabei gewesen ist. Wir assen etwas "europäisches" als Abwechslung.       ... the crowds. It was all very photogenic and obviously a mecca for the Balinese people. A long but interesting day, time for a G&T, then bed as we fly out tomorrow for Bangkok. Bali has not endeared itself to us, we have had a good time, especially meeting up with Karl and family, the hotel location was great, right on the beach, can't put our finger on it but not somewhere we would rush back ...

      ... for the trip so far with a very large 2 bedroom villa, thatched roof, 2 indoor and outdoor bathrooms, manicured gardens, large pool etc etc for $100 per night inc cooked breakfast 100m from the beach. WIN!!!!!
      However I did look at 3 other places that we complete flea pits for $130+ 1/2 the size.

      ... was a cafe and spa - rather convenient! Stopped to admire the scenery with fresh coconut juice as much needed reward for the walk up there. The spa had a free slot for a foot massage so had to take advantage of that obviously. Back in town, I went to visit the famous monkey forest.
