Bereits am ersten Abend hier waren wir verabredet mit einer Deutschen, die auch beim der Tour dabei gewesen ist. Wir assen etwas "europäisches" als Abwechslung. ... part of the Unesco World Heritag. We had a nice walk through the rice terraces and enjoyed a nice lunch with an awesome view.

On our way back we stopped to sample the famous Luwak Coffee.

Had a nice relaxing day at the beach in Sanur. It's not the most beautiful beach but it does the job. In the afternoon the breeze picked up so I headed back to the hostel. Met a lovely group of girls and we went for a cheap as chips dinner in a local warung. Very tasty and cheap dinner. It was great to be around like minded single travellers and to have a bit of company. Looking forward to sleeping in a nice clean bed in an air conditioned ...

... the cooking course, the transport cost was 250,000Rp (NZ$25) for a return drop. We had read that hiring a driver for a day was between 350,000-600,000 so given how much Kadek had waited for us, we offered him 400,000 for the day which he was happy with. We took his card as he offered us transport in the future as well as potential boat transport to Gilli Air, which is on our agenda at some point. All in all a really excellent day, the most expensive so far but a really great ...
