... the wall. More thunder tonight so we bought in pizza and watched Ric********** TV! Let's hope tomorrow is not too wet. Fireworks and rain are not a good mix. ....... No rain and perhaps, the best fireworks we have seen. As tourists we were duty bound to visit as many " must see" places in NY. The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Broadway, Greenwich Village etc. good to have been here but unnecessary to return we conclude.

I picked up Jena, Tina, and Anthony at 3:30 AM at Rider University; somehow we were able to fit all of our luggage plus the four of us into my Accord, then we headed to Samir's house to take the taxi service Samir had arranged. We got off at Central Park Zoo and decided to go see the animals of Madagascar. It is a very cute zoo but disappointing as its so small with a small amount of animals. I still enjoyed and continued my tradition of going to a zoo on holiday.
We were going to continued the loop on our hop on hop off bus but our bus drove right by us and so we waited for the next. ...
... for a train uptown. Slight incident as one of the shopping bags broke just before Andrew went through the turnstile. With me already on the other side I couldn't help as he rearranged our new clothes into another bag. He finally made it through and this time it was his turn to get disoriented and think we should be on the other platform. Luckily this time I had checked the sign carefully and knew we were in the right place.
