      Come to Como

We arrived in Como after a long drive from Bassano via Verona and the Hertz office to replace, yet again, the GPS. The Neverlost might be the case on the odd occasion that it works, but without it getting lost is actually quite simple. Anyway, we found the office and a very kind man who quickly replaced the unit and we were on our way. Verona had been recommended to us as a place to visit - not sure why. It is a flat industrial city with plenty ...

      ... to reach there.

Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

... eyes they paint a beautiful picture. The town we now pass has a marina with yachts lifting and lowering their heads as they are moored awaiting their next expedition. The further north we go the bigger are the mountains, especially those we see in the distance. We just had an announcement telling us the next stop is Genova Brignole. It's a pity we aren't stopping in Genova too. We are on carriage 6 of the train in seats 92 and 94. It's one of those trains ...

      Milan was fun

      Hi everyone

In Milan we stayed with friends Talia and Vincent. We watched a movie called Rio. We went to the park and played on electric cars and we played soccer. We went to Lake Garda and we saw old Roman ruins. We ate pizza and I had a gigantic ice cream. I also saw a big castle. In Milan we saw a big church called the Duomo.
