We had a relatively quiet start to this morning as our walking tour did not start until 10.30. This gave us time to shower, pack, breakfast, vibes mums ( mum S was not answering) and Bethany. We receive an SMS from our Emirates Limo driver that he is waiting for us downstairs and we are quickly whisked off to the Airport in style, pity it is only 5 minutes. Rock star treatment at check in and we make our way by train to Terminal 3 for Immigration clearance then a quick look through Duty Free to get rid of the last of my Dirhams, Julie scores a few quirky items.

We had decided to take the Ferry up to another village on the lakeside, but actually arrived at the Quay in time for an earlier ferry. So we ended up catching the 9:10 ferry to Urio. As we climbed on board, the rain started, and as we cast off, that rain changed to horizontal, so we abandoned to top deck to go downstairs.
Luckily when we reached Urio the rain let up for a while. The only cafe near the dockside turned out to be a restaurant, despite having "cafe" written ...
Well obviously, if you're going to drive in Italy on the first weekend in August, you need to be going north. That was lucky!
