I have been known to exaggerate some...but I am being 100% honest when I say that this was the BEST coffee either of us had ever had in our lives! Gas Station coffee?? It was getting later in the day by this point and she told me her parents had invited me for dinner so I joined ...

Through immigration, bag collected and only an hour late, walking through the doors looking in the crowd for a familiar face. Gilberto is there waiting for me and soon we're heading north to his home in Bannio. Rather than go on the motorway, he takes the road around Lake Maggiore. It is beautiful; just like I remembered except this time the sun is out and there is no haze across ...
