Our first day in Istanbul.
... br> This is another very impressive place. There is only about six inches of water in the bottom, just enough to give the idea of its use. I wandered all of the walkways and took lots of photos. Unfortunately the place is too big to light up with a flash. Without a flash the light level is so low that it takes so long to get a good exposure that the resultant photo is blurred. I did get many of the details and some dim photos of the whole cavern.

Hello from busy Istanbul

We were both a little tired so we decided to stay close to the hostel. We ended up seeing the Aya Sofia which was really beautiful. It started as a church, then a mosque and now a museum. ... into the bazaar, one begins to realize that most of the shops begins to look like a duplicate of the one seen when first entering this huge edifice. Most of us stood outside the main entrance, sometimes in the rain, to leave the harking inside. A few of us went to a coffee shop on the street to rest our shoes.
