Beautiful Buzios
... passed time merrily listening to awesome tunes and sipping on delicious cocktails. Finally the hour had arrived to hit the club, and we made our way across town to burn it up! At 12am sharp we arrived at the front of the queue to grace the Brazilian party goers with our presence, but nothing burned up our party mood faster than finding out that we would be person number 1 and 2 in the club after paying R800 each for cover charge! We retired home, tails between our legs.

... to my desk and toughed it out at work the entire day...and rest of the week. Things looked like they were getting infected...so I walked into the pharmacy and picked up some Cephalexin, an anti-inflammatory and some effervescent pain meds high on caffeine. Dudes, I didn't even have to see a doctor. That's one of the great things about Brazil...self-medicating with prescription drugs. There isn't a whole lot you CAN'T get over the counter here. ... on my Pin drive. I did this til about 10 PM and then finally went home. I slept from 11 PM to 2:30 AM, got up and translated until 8 AM. I then slept until 10:30 AM and then did some more translating until 5 PM. Slept til 7:30 PM and then translated some more right up until 11 PM.
