Life has been great here in southern Turkey. It's beautiful and relaxing. I was thinking about all the things I am going to miss about Turkey' not just at this resort, but all the places we have seen. Here is just a few that come to mind.

Visted Kalkan to buy a place on Patara Prince Resort and fell in love with it. Beautiful quaint charming and unspoilt.. a real retreat and sanctuary that feels like home
... ourselves in a tourist spot for the Turkish people. Very little English spoken here. The town is quaint and unspoiled. Set in a stunning bay overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The other side of this narrow peninsula is the Aegean Sea.
So here, in this sleepy fishing village, we will walk, swim, read and rest. The whole area is brimming with history.....but the only thing to cross off our list is leisure. Can't imagine a better place to do it.
It has been the most amazing week. I feel like I have had a holiday from my holiday. Kas is a wonderful little town on the sea. When I walk around, the locals say hi and ask me if I remember them from the other day. The owner of the pension calls me his longest staying guest. I think he might just have assumed that I moved in. I could easily do that. I love it here.
Within the town, I have been for a number of walks. There is not too much to see or ...
... ourselves. The cool water flowed quickly, and while it wasn’t an adrenaline rush, it was a lot of fun!
Our second to last stop of the day was a mud bath. This was more fun than I expected and we were quickly covered head to toe in mud. We then rinsed the mud off in the same water as we rafted in, brrrr. We made one more quick stop at a gas station with a swimming pool (seriously!) while they tried to sell photos of the day ...
