The beach Is a freakin millpond, partially because it was more in an enclosed bay, but even the Persian Gulf itself has millpond like waters since it is blocked by the Indian Ocean by the Strait of Hormuz. Monday 30th - we woke up at 5am and walked 3mins to the train station to catch the train to Heathrow. Checked in and ready to go we waited and waited and finally it was boarding time. The flight to Abu Dhabi went quite quick, both of us were mesmerised in the numerous tv shows and movies on the plane. We planned to visit a souk later on but its 6pm and Pete is fast asleep on the chair as I write this - he is shattered! All these 6am starts and late nights have taken their toll!!
Tomorrow we plan to get a bus to Dubai (Bur Dubai area) and have a wander as we havent been there before and thats where the bus station is! :)
