We then wandered around a bit more, got a couple of beers and sat on some comfy seats in the sunshine which was HOT! The hottest day we have had so far I think! From there, a cab to the Hilton, picked up the bags and set off for the ...

The hotel was in the middle of a business park which in turn was in the middle of a construction zone on the very outskirts of town. The hotel was amazing though and they provided shuttle buses into the city so we decided to tough it out in the five star palace outside of Abu Dhabi CBD.

... and carpets for sitting on. There were falcons at the entrance guarding the gate. They had crowns on their head and looked very cool. I went for a camel ride. Although it was bumpy it was a lot of fun. Getting off the camel was probably the hardest part because for the camel to get down it needs to kneel down and from such a high height it feels like you are falling.
