When Tina woke up, the three of us went to dinner at an outdoor cafe (it was gross Italian food), and then he had to drive back to Germany. It was a WONDERFUL visit and I was so glad to see him. He is still as funny as ever!

We're Here !!
Many hours flying and many free vino's and were here !! We went for a long walk to Dam square and found some very cool Cafe's. We are very tired but we can't sleep now its only noon here. We're gonna try to stay up until at least 8 or 9 pm....Wish us luck....so ...

According the latest reports, I am also arriving smack in the middle of the cherry blossom season, in a lot of areas the trees are just starting to bloom with about 40% opening up. They expect fully opened blossoms by the weekend so I imagine it will be quite a sight to see! Also, the Japanese celebrate this event by holding so called hanami parties, ...

... was practically ruined by a group of cackling, hysterical, loud and drunk British women who had popped over for a thirtieth birthday party. We spent the rest of the day walking around and soaking in the city, really. We walked to Rembrandtsplein, which had been transformed into Winter Wonderland with food stalls and an ice rink, much like Leidseplein, then walked along random canal-lined streets, trying in vain to avoid the influx of bicycles (the stories are true!) ...
Museums Galore!
... And the food isn't that bad surprisingly! Nothing gourmet or anything, but for €3.90 it was rather decent, cheap food. We returned to our hotel early so we could pack and get ready for our next stop- Berlin! Plus, we get to spend the next three cities with the awesome Kelly Roy, yay! P.S. We finally remembered to use the pedometer and we walked about 34287 steps in two days. We figured at 2.5 ft per step that's about 16 miles! No wonder we are so ...
