We followed it down to Villisemus which was once a fishing village but now a marina with restaurants and sun bathing beaches, great places to swim and the water aqua blue and crystal clear. We chose a restaurant that overlooked the cape and marina, Kevin had swordfish and I had fresh ...

... and headed in for some lunch . We drove down to Pula that day ,by the sea, a scary journey of rugged roads and dangerous drivers! We arrived at our hotel at 6:20. It's a lovely resort right on the water. We opted to do half board which includes breakfast and dinner. It was 40 ...

Today we have returned to Italy and reached Cagliari the capital of Sardinia. It is an odd little place with the old wall city perched on a hilltop overlooking the port to the south and the urban sprawl of the modern city crunched up against its walls on the other sides. The port authorities don't want you walking around the port so they provide a free shuttle bus to take you on a five minute ride to the port gates. From here you step across the road and straight ...
