    ... lol fun stuff, so were on the bus, Will is asleep within 10 minutes and stays that way for whole trip, me on the other hand am too eager looking at all the sights to sleep. We arrive in pattaya and go to tourist info place to find out how to get to dentist, they say get taxi for 50 baht ea, ($1.80 ea), we go to find taxi and must look like new tourist so we get charged 100 baht ea, oh well we just wanted to get there ASAP, as by this time it was ...

    ... br> I really dont know what happens when we arrive in Darwin, who meets us, when and where, I have no idea other what the new bus looks like, who is driving it, we wont have a tour leader

    We have no idea how we will be fed during our time in Australia, it is supposed to be bush camps until we get to Sydney, we dont know if the bus will have any supplies, fuel, cooking gear

A few years ago I would have been blown away by having been able to purchase three t-shirts and two pairs of shorts for four pounds, but since the rise of Primani, this seems far less impressive. We had lunch at a nice restaurant near one of the many golf courses in this area before heading back to the compound for a few hours sun before getting glammed up for the main event of the day - a Thai wedding. I couldn't decide between an alternative energy NGO in Ladakh which I had had a sparse email communication with, or an organic farm in Nepal.In true mature decision making style I made Isla (my seven year old cousin) decide for me by asking her to pick either I or N (a cunning code for the country of destination). She went for I. After a brief and slightly more adult conversation with Mike and Fon I decided she was right. And back to India I went.

    I hop on a 90 min bus ride to Pattaya right from the Bangkok airport. I’ll be spending some time at my friend Rick’s in Pattaya. I have known Rick since the Sri Lanka trip he hosted way back in 2005? Can’t remember. Anyway, I am not sure if there’s a speed limit on the Thai highways but this cowboy of a bus driver sure is flying away on the road.
