By the time we finished the trek we were undoubtedly among the most putrid, vile mingers South America has ever been unfortunate enough to host. What is the superlative of minging? The Spanish language has a very nice way of dealing with superlatives, they simply take the comparative and add el, la or los (the) before it. ... Even though we didn't bump into Sofia Vergara (and I wanted that so badly) we had an amazing time. We met the nicest people everywhere we went, we were speechless almost every day because of something we would encounter, nature, culture or just amazing people. We go for a nice hike in the jungle where you can see Toucan, squirrels, snake or insect that I never seen.
Butterfly here are incredible, I have seen one that was bigger than tennis ball.

It did get a bit windy up top during the night with the cool ocean breeze so we swung around a bit but I was actually pretty cosy in my sleeping bag and I think we all got a fairly decent night's sleep. Woke up to the sand and surf and a morning dip - not a bad place to spend the night. We took the ...

Domestic flights within Colombia are quite cheap so we caught a flight to the Caribbean coast from Bogota. The beaches in Santa Marta aren't that nice, but Kimmie and I decided to take a swim in the warm water on our second day. We had gone back to our hostel to drop off our valuables since we wanted to swim together; however, we took our day packs with water, towels, etc. and when we got out of the water, our ...
