The other advantage of this is that you are not surprised by a large final day bill at check out when you discover that you consumed more than you thought. No show tonight so we will have pre-dinner drinks and will have dinner on our own as Alex and Julie are ashore for dinner and we don't sail till midnight. Ciao for now and tomorrow it is ...

Sitting in that Starbucks, with its design, its signage, its music, its mugs for sale and its soy lattes, one could really be ANYWHERE. ... joined us for a farewell drink, as she heads back to London tomorrow and doesn't return until I'm home. As always, was lots of fun with Trisha if only very brief, and it was a sad saying another "goodbye" to a good friend from my adventures. It turned out to be a pretty long day though, and we eventually arrived back after midnight - only to remember that I hadn't yet done my homework for tomorrow - maybe a few less cider shots would have been more ...

... beach with a lovely view out to sea. Then onwards to Calvia, a very small town with a nice church, and finally to Port d'Andratx where we stopped for a beer. The port was nice, but we learned later that it is a very expensive part of the island... I wasn't really sure why! We met John for dinner near his place in Sant Antoni and it was good for John and James to meet - thankfully they held off the geeky linguistics discussions - for now, at ...
