... cakes and excellent coffee! If you happen to be near here, make sure you visit.
We stopped at Angelokastro, an ancient fortification and climbed to the top. We could see almost to Italy (it seemed) and took delight in exploring the battlements. From here we went back down to the coast, exploring the beaches of Agios Georgios, Agios Stephanos and Sidari as well as others in between. I’m sure they are great summer resorts but I couldn’t see anything but ...
Things were uneventful in this town, the weather raged on terrible. Being cold and drafty everyday except for the first day. The temperature dropped steadily and now we can see our breaths in the air. Being so, we were itching to move on the warmer locales. Thursday we're gonna get ready for the road trip down south to Virginia Beach. We did try and spend some time on the RIT campus taking pictures and looking for various skate spots ...

Finally made it to Rochester on Saturday afternoon after a much delayed journey from Toronto – it takes ages to cross the border from Canada to the US! I'm not sure how any people manage to enter the States illegally because they're really strict!! After I checked into my hotel (yep, no hostels in Rochester so I had to splash out on a hotel) and got over the amount of ...
Just south of Rochester is one of the Finger Lakes called Conesus Lake. It's not too big, but every year they have a 4th of July celebration on the 3rd called the Ring of Fire. Met up with several friends to enjoy the fireworks and each other's company. I was playing with the cameras high-speed burst setting so if you click through the fireworks pictures fast enough, its like watching one of the old ...
Rochester, New York, United States big_red_truck... soon after; my father was raised in Boston and had lots of family there. About once a year we visited and stayed in Winthrop at my Nana's home. As we got older we gradually shifted to staying with my great-Nana in Gloucester. It is the oldest seaport in the continental United States, popular for lobster fishing and attractive for the nation's billionaires. I am sure some pictures exist somewhere, but they ...
