... i thought about before but decided against it due to runours on the gringo trail of rough journeys and non stop vomiting! however this slipped my mind and i held a romantic notion of travelling by sea! ... Santiago to stay with Ana's friends, this is in the heart of the Maule Valley which is the best Chilean wine area. ... Chillan threw all sorts of whether at us, starting with rain, followed by a lot of snow and then blessed sunshine. Having suffered a little with conditions in Argentina we deservedly got one perfect day of knee deep powder snow and bright blue skies in Chillan - skiing Nirvana.
