... laid out and lots of open areas for all the animals to roam around. We got to see and hear some Tasmanian Devils - they sure don’t like being put into cages! The Wombats were adorable and we watched a lucky group of visitors enjoying a hands-on encounter with them. There were phenomenal numbers of lizards and geckos just wandering around the footpaths and when we stopped for lunch Lee received a lovely little lizard nibble of the toes. Up early, packed, showered and walked across the road for breakfast at the cafe overlooking the riverbank on top of the cliff!
