... Jane and Rob to the shops, buying two raincoats and testing out every camping chair that she came across. Ben had a nap and then decided that he wanted to go in the sea; he really is hooked at the moment. He cycled up to Currumbin Rock and wadded in the shallows, watching the surfers. ... do a breathaliser which, despite a beer a couple of hours before, he passed. We decided to stop at the next motel but had to travel about 50 miles eventually finding one at Sarina. (Over 400 miles driven today). A nice stopover and a good nights sleep. We have decided to stop dribbling our way along the coast and head on to Airlie Beach. Up to now the driving has been pretty dull and we waste time trying to find things to do. Time is not on our side.
