A calm and relaxing week
... took me to Point lookout. It was very pretty and they have put in a nice boardwalk trail. Just some more amazing beaches and beautiful views. What a waste of a day...not. I took my book, did some hiking, and some relaxing on the beach.
That was the end of my mellow ride. Next I set off for Frasier Island!

Australia Part 1
... week, I didn't test the waters on a board just yet. What was supposed to be my last full day in Sydney was spent in the city. I stayed at a hostel in the west end that is in the heart of China town. China town seemed to be pretty big. ... and we give it until 6am before we text them to let them know where we are. We are ravenous so we have a maccy ds brekkie ;)
Pen calls us at 6.30am and arranges to meet us at South Bank station... and then we realise that this call has rinsed our phone credit. whoops. we try and stick to text but it doesn't always work! This was the only time we took the local train and it was clean and quick. Not bad at all.

Brisbane Bound
My decision to move on from Sydney to Brisbane was sort of made for me when I was sacked from my cushy office job in the city. Realising I'd either have to find another job for a maximum of two weeks or just move on to the next destination a bit earlier than expected I decided the latter was the better option.
