... and I had the whole snapper and the ladies both had sea bass with a brown butter olive and garlic sauce. Desert was tiramisu for 2 and brownies with ice cream for two, both again, were very good. I haven’t mentioned that the concept of skim milk has not yet reached CR so their dairy products are very tasty.

... of fun playing in the creek. There were a couple of crazy Ticos, local Costa Ricans, up there who were jumping off the cliff from ¾ of the way up. A long way to jump if one manages to climb up there without falling off before you get to the launching pad. I think it is part of a mating ritual that they perform for tourist girls!

Shopping in Cobano on our return from Montezuma was a non event as they don’t have anything in the MegaSuper that we cannot get across ...

... Teresa men jag försäkrar att det är riktigt vackert. För att inte tala om alla exotiska djur som finns precis utanför dören, i form av apor, krabbor och högljudda insekter.

Imorgon drar jag vidare mot Monteverde men det har verkligen varit en toppen vecka här på alla sätt och vis. Rekomenderar Santa Teresa varmt.

... AMAZING kids! Ages 1-9 I think, and we all just loved playing with them, bubbles, a boomerang etc and they were all over at the house because their mums were busy making food as they were throwing a fiesta for us.

My diary then gushes about "how cute and amazing with kids" my group leader was, just messaged her about the following extract:
