A lovely day today, we went on an organised trip. We drove north for about 45 minutes to visit a whisky village. The whisky is called Lao Lao. Then elephant riding for about an hour, which was great. The countryside is diverse and very beautiful. The subtropical hills suddenly give way to a plain with pine trees and eucalyptus, almost like southern Portugal but with dark red soil like in Australia.

Drivers drive slowly, often on the middle of the road, and there are virtually no signals or right of way. Whoever gets in first... And they expect you to stop!
