We left Anchorage and drove the same road we came in on through Tok (the only road out of Alaska). Saw very few vehicles on the road. Passed through Canadian customs with no problem. Ended up in Haines Junction. It was a long, 650 mile day.

We crossed back into Canada in order to get to Skagway, AK. There are no roads between the main body of Alaska and the Southeastern pan handle. To get to that part of the state you have to go through Canada, or take a ferry, or fly.
