Punakaiki – Das Leben ist schön!

Nach den Gletschern und Bergen sind wir innerhalb von 30 Minuten am Strand in Okarito gewesen! Das nenn ich mal einen schnellen Wechsel in der Vegetation! Today, we visited the Pancake Rocks in Punakaiki. The rocks turned out to be se cliffs with lots of thin layers of rock mashed together. They're also famous for "blowholes" caused by high tides splashing up through holes in the cliffs. Winding walkways with low stone walls connected the lookouts, reminding me of Ireland.
