Nazca only has one tourist attraction, but its a biggie. Over 300 lines, geometric shapes and pictures carved into the stone below the desert which have only survived thanks to the low rainfall in the area. After another morning at the beech we are off to Nasca to take a short flight over the Nasca Lines. These are rock and line formations which can only be seen from above. Just a flying stop in this remote desert town. We didn't stay over night but caught a later bus to Cusco which gave us a few hours to check out Nasca. The town was quaint, built on tourism but relaxed and hassle free.

Well another 9 hours on busses and we are seriously clocking up the time. This time we could hardly believe our eyes: blankets, pillows and movies in english as well as good food!! Better than planes, who would have guessed! They even had a nice security chap come around the bus before we left with a camcorder to video each of us for 10 seconds ...
