Whisked off to the airport by Kimby in the dark, I didn't even look back at the house! An easy flight to rainy Chicago where Andrea picked me up. Off to the Wyndham, and later, Brigette!! Spent the weekend in Madison for their homecoming. We stayed with Aaron's sister, and I feel I got the full state school experience for a short while. The poor Wildcats got trounced by UW, as was to be expected. The student section was a tough place to watch an away game.

Leaving Red Wing, I went to find a little town called "Esdaile". It was very nice and very empty, maybe a dozen houses and no sign of life. I also called into Wisconsin Dells where they have one of the three Mir Space Stations that were built (one went into space, one was used as a ground version foer the misson, this was a spare).
