Over the past 10 months, Rieko and I would like to say that we are
so proud of our Kids (Dylan, Devon and KIna). For a father and mother
to have their two sons and daughter join them on such an epic adventure
words cannot express. For me as a father, to have the
opportunity to have my sons (Dylan and Devon) join me during business
visits to see (what their father actually does for a living) is a
blessing and to have Kina with us for the entire 10 month ...
... be more Chinese here than in Boston. Pretty amazing.
Very nice hotel! No need to checkin - the porter already had our room keys ready and he addressed Bob as Mr. Fiske as soon as we came out of the taxi. A classy nice touch which reminded us of the Peninsula hotel in Bankok. The room is nice. Nothing fancy, but roomy and comfortable.

Arrived in Wellington (capital of New Zealand) at 11:30, picked up our rental car, a small Nissan station wagon ...
... railway - however we'd had to have waited until around 11pm to get on.
Our driver just just wanted to keep us happy I think. He took us on a circuit of Stanley Park - although we had done this a few days earlier, it was a completely different experience at night.
We were quite happy to get off the bus at the end of the night. I love Christmas carols but after a couple of hours of them on repeat I was all done. ...
... and a mouch and all very pleasant. Due to achey legs we got a cab back to Chinatown and had another mouch. Drizzling rain at this point so back to the hotel for a rest and plan for our last dinner tonight Looking forward to seeing you all soon ...
