As I write this we are sat under a tree in the splash park in Granville Island. We got the bus here this morning after having breakfast in the cafe down the road. Beano has pancakes with bananas and chocolate sauce! He loved it. We have had a walk round the food market and wished we didn't have breakfast. It all looks so yummy. We have been to the kids market, sadly beano acted like a spoilt child so it was short lived as I just can't listen to the constant ...

I also videoed us going down but as with rain there becomes mud and it's quite funny to watch the lens get slowly covered in mud as we descended. At Moose Pass the highway and railroad tracks meet back up, and both travel along the shores of Kenai Lake (22 miles long and the headwaters of the Kenai River). Next we went over Divide (mile 12) another lower summit of the Kenai Mountains. We then crossed the Resurrection River (mile 3) with gravel flats, leading down to the industrial and service end ...

After spending one night at the Sylvia Hotel we checked into our first... (still not sure of how many) temporary accommodation. It was a self contained unit on the bottom of a brand new Edwardian home 'situated on a quiet cherry blossom lined street', it was beautiful! Located on East 14th avenue only 10 minutes walk to Commercial Drive or 'The Drive' as locals call it. The unit has every thing we wanted: private entry, kitchen, lovely queen sized bed and tv. We have spent ...

... accidentally overslept, but luckily the girls woke us up and we were still quite in time at school. I didn't want to miss that, because two of the kids in Chloe's class even made me a card and gave me piece of chocolate. That was super cute.
Beside that, I've been cutting hearts, red, pink and blue ones. Mrs Clarke had a few for the kids to do some nice small projects with, but they used them all. So we both made them more and ...
