I had a 5 year old for the last 3 weeks on Kinder Camp, her name was Megan and she was absolutely adorable. I quickly found out that there was no motivation for Megan that worked quite so well as coconuts.. I know, it's an interesting thing for a 5 year old to get quite so excited about but honestly the mere mention of the word and her eyes would light up. We’d been using the website boredinvancouver.com to find some interesting listings and information about what’s on and I’d stumbled across this. Charlotte isn’t a fan but there was no way I wasn’t going to ...

Got up early this morning to be taken up the local monument Grouse Mountain with some locals Bleeksie set us up with. Richard and Bob have raced with Bleeksie both at the Mongolia challenge and Tour of Portugal and they regularly (2/3 times a week) do a hike/ scramble up through the water catchment side of Mt Grouse. Normally tourists go up what's called the Grouse Grind http://www.vancouvertrails.com/trails/g rouse-grind/ , which climbs 850m ...
