I have recently managed to acquire two jobs, one of which is working as a Hostess in a bar down by where I live. I think the best way to describe this bar would be 'up-market Hooters'.. ... Richard and Francie & Collin, the parents of both the bride and groom, came for dinner at our "batch" in Lake Rotoiti. Great evening. Penny and Richard stayed with us for 2 days before heading off to their adventures in the North Island. We will see them in Napier in five days from now.

... managed to take some pictures. We then proceeded up the slope. Fall is settling in, some trees are changing colour. The patterns were beautiful! As the guide was talking to us about the wild berries soon disappearing for the season, mainly eaten by the bears, we saw a bear cub and it's mother! They were minding their own business, eating what was left of the berries on branches. It was do amazing to see these animals ...

... trip, but the killer was the hills! Lovely gardens and lovely lunch. Headed out after dinner to see the sunset over the water and just made it on time. When we arrived 5 weeks ago, the sun didn't go down till around 10pm, but last night it was around 8.30pm, so the days are getting shorter. The trees are still beautiful, but colours are beginning to change on some, so autumn is on it's way. The highlight of today was Belgian Waffles ...
