8:50am Sea mist. It's lovely but when coupled with a stiff breeze it infuses everything with damp and the cold. Bracing, others might call it. I can see my breath. And so my camping sweater continues to be a staple. The trees above hold what moisture they can and then rain down beneath them. The guy next to us with a 5th wheel unit couldn't get his jacks down to stabilize his unit earlier in the evening because his unit was rocking in the wind! We are heavy enough and positioned with our tail end to the wind so we didn’t have any problems.

On the Coastal Trail, sitting on the rocks and just watching guys trying to get their kites up in the air.

Had my hat & hood on to keep the warmth in my body – still, could hear the sound of the surf so loud! Love the ...
