      ... and I went to the grocery store to buy food I walked out holding our bag of food and heading back to the hostel, karly came up behind me and tried to take the bag so I wouldn't have to carry it, unfortunately I didn't see her and I toghtened my grip and went to turn around and fight her for it thinking someone was trying to steal our food! Haha guess I was a little paranoid.... We tagged along with an elderly lady from Florida from our hostel in Naples ...

      ... Corser, Stoner, Hailwood. Tour group included Graham Moore who brought xxxxxxx into v8 racing and father and son from Perth who had an inflatable display tent business. Also a couple of Malay guys from Kuantan who own Ducatis. Dinner at xxxx Osteria in lane way near piazza. Recomended by Lonely Planet. Tagliatelle Ragu (spag Bol) and Greek salad with a beer and 250cl carafe for 20€. Nice food and nice family ...

      ... though they had spent the night there - wrapped in blankets. There was also a statue of a tiger killing a camel - it was under restoration so I couldn't find a plaque - but I did think it was a little bit odd. The park detour was good as there was a massive protest occurring up the street the hotel is on.       ... free people today wearing laurel wreaths - and all very cheery! I happened to pass by the same cafe I had breaky at later in the afternoon and they offer a huge buffet lunch menu - the place was packed - there were no chairs or tables available. Good sign that it is good value and good food. I visited a number of sights today - started with the cathedral of San Pietro.       ... a marble 'altar like platform' in the middle where the dissection of corpses took place. The lecturer's chair is supported by statues of two skinless men! In other parts of the museum, there is a library of old scholarly texts, as well as many coats of arms and names of students who became famous after their studies were completed at the university.
